EDWARD9 MAXFIELD, Jr. was born at Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, on 17 April 1921, a son of Edward Maxfield and Pearl Bowser. He died on 17 April 1997. He married at Iowa City, Johnson County, Iowa, on 9 August 1945 LUCILLE GABRIELLE MASON. She was born at Norwalk, Fairfield County, Connecticut, on 1 February 1920 and died at Newton, Jasper County, Iowa, on 17 January 2009. They divorced about 1960.

Edward Maxfield and his wife Lucille Mason had the following children:

  1. PATRICIA10 MAXFIELD b. on 20 February 1952; m. on 2 September 1970 CRAIG THIES.
  2. DAVID10 MAXFIELD b. at Waterloo on 25 June 1959; d. at Austin, Travis Co., TX, on 11 October 1995.
