EDWARD HERBERT8 MAXFIELD was born at New Hampton, Chickasaw County, Iowa, on 8 August 1893 a son of Herbert Maxfield and his wife Ida West. He died at Waverly, Bremer County, Iowa, on 19 January 1970. He married at Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, on 21 April 1912 PEARL L. BOWSER. She was born at Canton, Stark County, Ohio, on 16 April 1895 and died at Waverly on 8 July 1962.

Edward Maxfield and his wife Pearl Bowser had the following children:

  1. DURWOOD B.9 MAXFIELD b. at Iowa on 12 February 1913; d. at Black Hawk Co., on 13 February 1913.
  2. EDWARD9 MAXFIELD, Jr. b. at Waterloo on 17 April 1921.
  3. ROBERT D.9 MAXFIELD b. at Iowa on 30 March 1929.
