CLARENCE CARLOS9 MAXFIELD (Frank8, John7-6, William5, David4, Eliphalet3, Nathaniel2, John1) was born at Sycamore, DeKalb County, Illinois, on 4 December 1878 (Mike Maxfield, WWI Draft), a child of Frank Allen Maxfield and his wife Sarah Jane Denmark.

Clarence Carlos Maxfield married ELIZABETH EMMA JASCHKE at Saint Paul, Ramsey County, Minnesota, on 1 June 1914 (Mike Maxfield). According to the marriage record they were both residents of Ramsey County, they were married by Franxis X. Bajes, a Roman Catholic clergyman, and they had secured their marriage license the same day. Elizabeth was born at Minnesota about 1884 (1920 census) or 1893/4 (1930 census).

When Clarence registered for the draft at Saint Paul on 12 September 1918 he provided the following information (WWI Draft)

The 1920 census (853:17A) reported Clarence C. Maxfield, 41, his wife Emma E. Maxfield, 35, and his mother Jennie D. Maxfield, 67, living at Saint Paul. The 1930 census (1117:43A) reported this family at 1686 Race Street, Saint Paul, as follows:

The record also stated that Clarence and Elizabeth were aged 36 and 20 respectively at marriage.

Clarence Carlos Maxfield died at Saint Paul on 13 April 1935. The death certificate, provided by Mike Maxfield, reads as follows:

Widow Elizabeth E. (Jaschke) Maxfield married EVERET AUSTIN of Martinez, California, about 1958 (Mike Maxfield).

Clarence Carlos Maxfield and his wife Elizabeth Emma Jaschke had the following child:

  1. CLARENCE CARLOS10 MAXFIELD, JR. b. at Saint Paul on 30 October 1917
