FRANK ALLEN8 MAXFIELD (John7-6, William5, David4, Eliphalet3, Nathaniel2, John1 ) was born at Sycamore Township, DeKalb County, Illinois on 18 August 1851 (passp), a child of John Nelson Maxfield and his first wife Mary Ann Crocker.

Frank Allen Maxfield and SARAH JANE DENMARK were married at Sycamore on 18 April 1877, by W. S. Harrington, minister of the gospel (IL M, Mike Maxfield). They had received thair marriage license at DeKalb County on 11 April, which indicated they were both of Sycamore, age 25 (Mike Maxfield). Sarah Jane was born at Curwinsville, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania on April 1853 (1900 census; place from son's birth record).

Frank Allen Maxfield died sometime between the 1900 and 1910 censuses.

The 1910 census (285:1:67B) reported Jennie Maxfield, probably Frank's widow, living at 743 West State Street, Sycamore, with her sister, widow Ora Waldron. Jennie was 58, a widow, who had two children, both living.

Frank Allen Maxfield and his wife Sarah Jane Denmark had the following children:

  1. CLARENCE CARLOS9 MAXFIELD b. at Sycamore on 4 December 1878
  2. WILLIAM NELSON9 MAXFIELD b. at Chicago, Illinois on 1 October 1881
