This document also stated that the couple had been married four years, and that Juanita had given birth to two children, one of whom was living.
When Edwin signed up for the draft at Burlington, Des Moines County, Iowa, on 12 September 1918 (WWI Draft), he reported the following:

The 1910 Census reported them at Marshall Township, Taylor County, but children were born in 1910 and 1913 at New London, Henry County. In 1918 both his draft registration and a child's birth were recorded at Burlington, Des Moines County. The next record I have found is the 1930 Census (2346:24B) which located them at 2315 1/2 Chemeriet Street, Houston, Harris County, Texas.
