ALBERT PLINY9 MAXFIELD (Adolphus8, William7, James6, William5, David4, Eliphalet3, Nathaniel2, John1) was born at Indiana on 3 October 1873 (WWI Draft), a child of Adolphus F. Maxfield and his wife Eliza Ellen Houston.

Albert Pliny Maxfield married NETTIE C. MOSS about 1895/6 (1900, 1910 censuses). Nettie was born at Louisiana on 4 July 1875 (SSDI).

The 1900 census (585:8A) reported Pliny, born at Indiana on October 1873, blacksmith, and his wife Nettie C., born at Louisiana on July 1875, at Vermillion Parish, Louisiana. They had been married four years and had no children.

The 1910 census (514:2A) reported this family at 1115 West Mason Street, New Iberia, Iberia Parish, Louisiana:

Albert and Nettie had been married fourteen years; she had three children, all living.

When Albert Pliny Maxfield registered for the draft at Lake Charles, Calcasieu Prish, Louisiana, on 12 September 1918, he reported the following (WWI Draft):

The 1920 census (606:1A) reported that family still at 620 Clarence Street. Albert, 43, born at Indiana, was a house carpenter, wife Nettie E. was 44, daughter Winnie V. 16, son Oscar F. 16, and son Alcee F. 10.

The 1930 census (788:7A) reported the family at the same address. Albert P. Maxfield, age 55, married at age 22, born at Indiana, was a bricklayer. Wife Nettie C., age 54, was married at age 21. Of the children, only Alcee F. remained at home, age 20, a bookkeeper for First National Bank.

Albert Pliny Maxfield died at Lake Charles on 24 October 1947, age 73 (LA D). Nettie C. Maxfield died on 11 May 1974 (Orange Gr Cem; SSDI).

Albert Pliny and Nettie C. Maxfield had the following children:
