LYSLE RAY9 MAXFIELD (Butler8, Samuel7, Nathan6, probably Eliphalet5, David4, Eliphalet3, Nathaniel2, John1) (also called "Lyle") was born at Potsdam, Saint Lawrence County, New York, on 8 April 1902 (VR NY; SSDI), a child of Butler G. Maxfield and his wife Anna Curtis. Before Lysle had reached the age of eight his family had moved to Millbank, South Dakota. He was reported there with his parents in the 1910 Census, and after his father's death when he was fifteen, with his mother in the 1920 Census.

Lysle Ray Maxfield married ARDELLA CHARLOTTE ANDERSON. They were living at Olmstead County, Minnesota, when a child was born to them. Lysle Ray Maxfield died at Hennepin County, Minnesota, on 9 February 1987 (SSDI; MN D). Ardella Maxfield died on 8 June 1989 (SSDI), her last residence was Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Lysle Ray Maxfield and his wife Ardella Anderson had the following child:
