Maxfield and his wife Susan V. Maxfield. The 1910 census (292:1:88A) reported Guy at Kewanee, Henry County, Illinois, age 21, where he was boarding with Edward and Carrie Ponto and working as a laborer for a tube company. The 1920 census (207:2B) found Guy Maxfield at the Navy Yard, Washington, D.C., where he was a private in the United States Marines.
Guy Maxfield married ISABELLE ________ about 1921. She was born at Illinois about 1892/3. This information comes to us from the 1930 census (491:10A), which reported the couple at 850 Sunnyside Avenue, Chicago, Illinois:
