ROBERT EARL9 MAXFIELD (Jeremiah8, John7, Nathaniel6, Eliphalet5, Nathaniel4, Eliphalet3, Nathaniel2, John1) was born at Illinois on 10 July 1879 (WWI Draft, 1880, 1900 censuses), a child of Jeremiah Winter Maxfield and his wife Elizabeth Thompson. His name appeared as "Robert" on the 1900 census; however all the data coincides with the Earl of the 1880 and 1920 censuses.

Earl married EFFIE LUELLA about 1899 (1900, 1910 census). Effie was born in Nebraska about October 1880 (1900 census).
