Philip S. Maxfield married PHYLIS MORRILL at Maine on 22 June 1929 (Me M). Phyllis was born at Maine about 1911/2 (1930 census). The 1930 census, taken on 1 April, (832:) reported the family in Westbrook, Maine, consisting of Philip, a lawyer, age 24, his wife Phyllis, age 18, and son Philip, Junior, age two months. Philip and Phyllis had married at age 22 and 16 respectively.

Philip S. Maxfield died at Portland, Maine, on 16 August 1980 (Me D, SSDI)
