LOUIS CLARENCE10 MAXFIELD (Clarence9, William Franklin8, W. Frederick7, David6, perhaps Isaac5, David4, Eliphalet3, Nathaniel2, John1) was born at Michigan on 30 April 1914 (MI D; SSDI), a child of Clarence Ellsworth Maxfield and his wife Mabel Sutherland.

Louis C. Maxfield married LAVERNE EMMA LaPORTE on 21 November 1940. Laverne was born on 28 July 1917.

Laverne (La Porte) Maxfield died on 13 August 1964. Louis C. Maxfield died on 8 December 1980 (MI D; SSDI). His last residence was Watervliet, Berrien County.

Louis Clarence Maxfield and his wife Laverne Emma LaPorte had the following children:
