Charles Maxfield married MAUD SEUSS about 1888/9. Maud was born in New York on November 1869 (1900 census).

The 1900 census (966:1:186) reported Charles and Maud Maxfield at 52 North Eleventh Street, Newark, New Jersey:

This record also reported that Charles and Maud had been married eleven years, and that Maud had three children, of whom only one was living.

The 1920 census (1035:10B) reported Charles G. and Maud S. Maxfield, ages 53 and 48 respectively, at 195 Roseville Avenue, Newark. Charles was a broker. They had two children at home, Harold S. Maxfield, age 28, an automobile salesman, and Marion E., a daughter age 11.

Charles Maxfield and his wife Maud Seuss had the following children:
