JAMES7 MAXFIELD (Daniel6, probably Daniel5-4, Ebenezer3, Samuel2, Clement1) was born at Seekonk, Massachusetts, in 1797, according to his death records. He was a child of Daniel and Deborah Maxfield.

ANN ELIZA WATSON married James Maxfield at Barrington, Rhode Island, on 10 October 1819 (VR RI 6:Barr.:14). Rev. Joel Mann officiated. Ann Eliza was born in 1801, according to the cemetery record. On some records she was called "Emeline."

The 1820 census (115:9) reported the couple living at Bristol, Rhode Island, at that time without children.

Ann Eliza died in 1830 (RI Cem) and was buried in Prince's Hill Burial Ground, Barrington. James Maxfield lived almost fifty years more. He was reported in the 1870 census living with his son James at Barrington. James Maxfield died there on 23 July 1879 (VR RI D 1879:946). The record stated:

Jul 23, 1879, James Maxfield, 82 y, d. Barrington. Male, White, Widower, farmer b. Seekonk, Ma, American, to Daniel and Deborah Maxfield. old age
He was buried in Prince's Hill Burial Ground, Barrington.

James and Ann Eliza Maxfield had the following children:
