AUSTIN CHARLES7 MAXFIELD was born at Pittsfield, New Hampshire, on 29 August 1864 a son of John H. Maxfield and his second wife Julia Ann Green . He died on 1948. He married first at Pittsfield on 12 September 1885 STELLA GLADYS HOOPER. She was born at North Berwick, York County, Maine, on January 1865. They were divorced at Belknap County, New Hampshire on 14 October 1893. He married second at Pittsfield on 28 October 1893 MARGARET DICKEY. She was born at Chipman, New Brunswick, on 20 February 1875 and died at Pittsfield on 17 June 1929. He married third at Pittsfield on 27 August 1932 LILLIAN (STURTEVANT) MOUNT. She was born at Bradford, Orange County, Vermont, on 5 March 1885 and died at Concord, New Hampshire, on 14 December 1935. He married fourth at Pittsfield on 15 November 1936 ANNIE G. (LESLIE) HANSON. She was born at Penacook, Merrimack County, New Hampshire, on 1868 and died at Pittsfield on 23 February 1939.

Austin Charles Maxfield and his first wife Stella Gladys Hooper had the following children:

  1. CHARLES AUSTIN8 MAXFIELD b. at Pittsfield on 17 July 1886; d. on September 1966.
  2. CHRISTINA A.8 MAXFIELD b. at Pittsfield on 25 December 1889; m. at Pittsfield on 9 May 1908 CHARLES F. JENKINS.
  3. AMY F.8 MAXFIELD b. at Barnstead, New Hampshire, on 4 November 1891; d. at Framingham, Massachusetts, on February 1978; m(1). at Pittsfield on 4 April 1908 FRED W. SLEEPER; m(2). after 1918 ________ BARRY.

Austin Charles Maxfield and his second wife Margaret Dickey had the following children:

  1. EMMA M.8 MAXFIELD b. at Barnstead on 25 November 1894; m. at Pittsfield on 26 April 1924 JOHN M. LARO.
  2. MARY JULIA8 MAXFIELD b. at Barnstead on 29 July 1899; d. on 3 March 1996; m. at Antrim, New Hampshire, on 19 June 1931 HARLAN C. GRISWALD.
  3. ALICE POTTER8 MAXFIELD b. at Barnstead on 20 May 1902; d. on November 1994; m. before 1925 IDDO ADELBERT ASHLEY.
  4. JOHN ADAMS8 MAXFIELD b. at Barnstead on 23 March 1904.
  5. MARGARET G.8 MAXFIELD b. at Pittsfield on 9 January 1908; m. at Hillsborough, New Hampshire, on 16 June 1933 ELLSWORTH R. BENNETT.
