EDWIN B.7 MAXFIELD was born at Potton, Brome County, Quebec, on March 1861 a son of Davis Maxfield and his wife Eliza Laird. He died at Bellows Falls, Windham County, Vermont, on 6 October 1936. He married at Marshfield, Washington County, Vermont, on 3 July 1882 NETTIE ELEN HOLT. She was born at Marshfield on 27 April 1855 and died at Plainfield, Washington County, on 2 July 1934.

Edwin Maxfield and his wife Nettie Holt had the following children:

  1. ELMER EDWIN8 MAXFIELD b. at Marshfield on 3 October 1883.
  2. ELBERDA VELMA8 MAXFIELD b. at Plainfield on 26 May 1885; d. at Berlin, Washington Co., on 27 December 1980 ; m. at Plainfield on 27 February 1905 LEON E. TUCKER.
  3. ELBERSA VENA8 MAXFIELD b. at Plainfield on 26 May 1885; d. at Bellows Falls on 25 July 1975 ; m(1). at Plainfield on 20 September 1904 HIRAM BUSHEY; m(2). bef 1936 ________ CARPENTER.
