ELMER EDWIN8 MAXFIELD was born at Marshfield, Washington County, Vermont, on 3 October 1883 a son of Edwin Maxfield and his wife Nettie Holt. He died at Plainfield, Washington County, on 6 January 1954. He married at Plainfield on 21 May 1910 EMMA F. WOODCOCK. She was born at Marshfield on 1891 and died on 1969.

Elmer Maxfield and his wife Emma Woodcock had the following children:

  1. EARL FRANCIS MAXFIELD b. at Plainfield on 24 November 1911.
  2. ELVER MOLIENE MAXFIELD b. at Plainfield on 24 April 1919; d. on 6 May 1995 ; m(1). bef 1983 EUGENE PALMER; m(2). WILLIAM G. McKENZIE. x
